New website

I created my former website (https://sites.google.com/site/rodriguezsanchezf/) in late 2010, when I was starting my first postdoc at the lovely University of Cambridge. After 10 years, it was about time to revamp it!

So many things happened in these 10 years… I spent three amazing years in Cambridge, then came back to Spain. I got seven different contracts, went unemployed, published a few papers, taught a few courses, met wonderful people, watched my kid grow… even learnt to code quite a bit!

That’s why this new website is made through code, using blogdown and the Hugo academic theme. Hey, there’s even a (hopefully growing) Software section with the code and software I’ve managed to write these years! Because they are so hard to produce, I also tried to give some love to each published paper and talk, including some pictures and publication metrics from diverse APIs (Dimensions, Altmetric…).

As always, there is so much more one could put on this little corner of the internet… For example, I would particularly like to include pictures of beatiful places and all the awesome people I’ve been so lucky to work/interact with. But time is too limited, so new content may come slowly.

Anyways, looking forward to another ten awesome years of science growing on this website. Welcome!
